The Giants are coming off of their 2nd Super Bowl in 5 years and they are still talking about the Dallas Cowboys. Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw was asked why he thinks the Dallas Cowboys have not won a championship. Here is what Bradshaw had to say to the NFL Network when asked if the his rival will win a championship with Romo as QB:
“I don’t see it happening. I don’t think they believe it, and they’re America’s Team. If America don’t believe it…”
When asked to clear his comment if he was referring to the team or the fans, he had this to say:
“It all comes together. If the fans don’t believe it, the team doesn’t. They’re kind doubtful with Romo.”
As a Cowboy fan, I do actually agree with Bradshaw. I disagree that Romo can’t win a championship, as he is not the problem (Read ‘The Biggest Reason behind the Cowboys Failures-and No, it’s NOT Tony Romo”). I do agree though that majority fans and his team, most notably, his head coach doesn’t believe in him. Carrot Top Garrett made it apparent he doesn’t believe in Romo when they played the New England Patriots earlier in the season and did not give Romo the opportunity to win the game because he was afraid of the disaster that happened against Detroit.
You never get the vibe from the team that they believe in Romo as well when you hear post-game interviews, and there is no confident support.
Take note of this Dallas Cowboys and Cowboy Nation, most notably, Jerry Jones.
