Frank Ocean bi-sexual, sings about loving “him” on new album

Did singer Frank Ocean come out of the closet? It sure looks like it.

The Odd Future singer’s debut record Channel Orange was previewed yesterday for press in London and several reporters have come away claiming that Frank hinted to the nature of his sexuality on a few tracks.

According to ChoiceFM DJ Max, Frank purposefully uses the word “him” rather than “her” on three of the songs.

“Frank has also opened up about his sexuality on the album, we think it’s brave and admire him for being so honest and sharing such a personal aspect of his life through his music,” Max wrote on her website ThisIsMax.

“On the songs ‘Bad Religion’,‘Pink Matter’ and ‘Forrest Gump’ you can hear him sing about being in love and their are quite obvious words used like ‘him’ and not ‘her’.”

“In the world we live in now we can’t see this being an issue or why it should be?? But we do commend him for not continuing a facade and conforming to what a Hip Hop so called rule book expects, we say live your life and be yourself.”

Frank has not said anything about this on twitter or anything so far. If he is bi-sexual, he would be the first R&B singer to PUBLICLY come out of the closet. Although we know of a few that are IN the closet…not saying any names. :)

I think it’s pretty cool….what do you guys think?
